WONCA News – July 2019 The latest WONCA News (July 2019) has just been published and can be accessed at https://www.globalfamilydoctor.com/News/NewsletterArticle/July2019.aspx
From the CEO’s Desk: Two new WONCA Special Interest Groups This month Dr Garth Manning highlights two new WONCA Special Interest Groups (SIGs) which the WONCA Executive have approved.
SIG on Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Care looks especially at the health care of both Adolescents (10-18years) and Young Adults (18 to 24 years), which has largely been ignored both at a global and local level under the presumption that they were healthy and in no need of care. Featured Doctor: Dr Tesshu Kusaba (Japan) One of this month’s featured doctors is Dr Tesshu Kusaba from Japan. He is the current President of the Japan Primary Care Association (JPCA) and has been working as a family doctor at Motowanishi Family Clinic in Muroran City of Hokkaido, since 2003.
